Just Who are the Happiest Airline Employees?

According to the folks at Payscale.com, the Happiest Airline Employees are the ones with Alaska Airlines. Maybe it has something to do with them getting rid of those in-flight prayer cards earlier this year.

PayScale poured through data from leading domestic U.S. airlines to find out just which one has the highest-paid, least-stressed, and overall, the happiest airline employees. Good news for some, but certainly not good news for a lot of us when you see where your airline falls on the pay scale.

While I agree that Alaska has happy employees, the information provided is blatantly false. Alaska flight attendants are paid much differently than other airlines — by the distance and not the hour — incorrect conversion to an hourly wage may be why Alaska is so incorrectly ranked. On the other hand, Southwest is also paid this way, but their pay is nearly 20% higher than Alaska. This leads me to believe that the author simply failed to do proper research.

Are you serious? why would Alaska Airlines flight attendants be the happiest because they took away those prayer cards? What would that have to do with their work? Did you know that Alaska Airlines was founded by missionaries? Alaska airlines was proud of its family and spiritual values, why make that comment? Idiots!!
